W6

As a person who has grown up with one style of writing– paragraph format– this class was certainly a twist. As such, week by week seemed to have almost some growing pains as I learned new skills on how to tackle these creative projects. During this process of learning and trying new things I feel that it has ultimately been for the better as I find ways of tackling ideas more creatively.

This creative approach is after all the main difference between static text and dynamic.     After all, static text is more linear, often requiring a clear beginning, middle, and end. The design process involves structure content in a logical manner, ensure readability, and possibly incorporate visual elements for engagement. Dynamic or interactive texts demand a more complex approach. Sketching here might involve envisioning user interaction, while mockups and wireframes need to capture multiple states of content transformation. These creative ways of approaching different topics are all ways that we have tackled topics. Which shows that the challenge is to balance user engagement with coherent storytelling.

In the case of a timeline-based text, the focus is on arranging events chronologically, allowing for a coherent narrative flow. The design process might start with sketching out key events, followed by create a mock-up to visualize the sequence, and then develop a wireframe to establish the structural framework similar to what we did during week 5. Constraints lie in maintaining accuracy and logically progression, but it offer a clear storytelling path.

In conclusion, the process of composing timeline-basd, static, and dynamic interactive texts involve diverse design approaches, each with unique possibilities and challenges. Storytelling ease varies based on personal preference. Ethics remains paramount across formats, as creators bear responsibility for impact of they're work. Adapting ethical considerations to evolving digital platforms ensure responsible content creation and distribution.
